10.07.2009 - The Annual Ski Sale will be held at the UNH fieldhouse on November 1, 2009 from 8:30 am-4:30 pm. Take advantage of great deals on new and used skis, boards, skates and apparel. Bring your used equipment to sell between 8 and 9:30 am. Flyer.

PARKING: Recommend parking at the shopping plaza down the road (Rite Aid parking lot) or somewhere in town where you can ride your bike into the shop. You can always drop off potluck item(s) first, and bike, then park.

08.01.2009 - Seacoast Area Bicycle Routes (SABR) invites you to participate in a group discussion on rider safety next Thursday, August 6th, 6:30-8:30 PM at the Portsmouth Public Library. The purpose of this meeting is start a dialogue among cyclists, bike shop employees and group ride leaders/organizations to come up with some rules we can all follow when out on the road. NorEast Cycling member, Karen Higgins, coming to the finish line of the cycling leg in the team competition of the 13th annual Rye By-The-Sea Duathlon. She and her team won the team division!

07.05.2009 - Trans NH Bike Ride recap: Last weekend, nine NorEasters participated in the 2009 Trans NH Bike Ride from the Canadian border of NH to Concord. They were amoung 102 riders who as a group raised $135K for the MDA! Click here to view more photos.

6.19.2009 - Uniforms are in!!
Joe Reagan, NorEast Cycling Clothing Manager, has received the recent Voler uniform order! If you've ordered clothing and you prepaid shipping, Joe will be sending your order to you either tomorrow or on Monday. If you've ordered clothing but have not yet paid for shipping, please contact Joe at 603.623.7857 to arrange a pick up time. As always, a bit of extra clothing was included in this shipment, so if you did not preorder, all is not lost, you can still get clothing while supplies last. Just download a uniform order form, and send it in.


06.13.2009 - Registration is now open for the Kancamagus Bicycle Challenge. This ride is a 63.5-mile bicycle ride along the Kancamagus Highway in northern New Hampshire on September 12, 2009. Although it is one of the most beautiful routes in the country, this ride is not for the faint of heart: 4,300 feet of ascent and descent will challenge your spirit and test your endurance.

Funds raised by the Kancamagus Challenge will support ChildVoice's current project in northern Uganda, where work is underway to expand a pilot project for former child soldiers and formerly abducted girls. Among the riders is a Ugandan who suffered as a child during the rebel war. Join him in the ride of a lifetime! The event is limited to 100 riders, so register now to ride -- or to sponsor a rider!
