NorEast members prep the course for Orchard Cross. 10.09.2010 - Check out the Carter Hill Orchard cyclocross training series sponsored by the New Hampshire Cycling Club. This practice/training event will occur every Thursday at 5:15 pm until December. The course will vary, but will always include hills, barriers, and some technical features, and some single-track sections will also be routinely featured. The training series will be held at Carter Hill Orchard, 73 Carter Hill Road, Concord, NH (map). Read more details...

Photos on Flickr 08.29.2010 - The Northeast Velodrome is putting on one additional Try-the-Track Clinic on Sept 17-18, 2010. This is a great way to get an intro to track riding/racing as well as receive a Cat 5 to Cat 4 upgrade. Click here to go to a good primer to track racing. Please note that this is the weekend of Portsmouth Crit but, it is on Friday night and Saturday. This is a great class put on by a great group of people who are passionate about growing the sport in NE. 08.15.2010 - Survey on bicycle route hazard areas 08.03.2010 - The Mount Agamenticus Time Trial was canceled!
After a great amount of thought, we decided to cancel this years edition of the Mount Agamenticus Time Trial that was scheduled for Sunday August 8th. While this race is known for it's technical course, this year it is just too dangerous...Anyone who has pre-registered will be refunded the entry fee and I will talk with Bikereg about returning the Bikereg race fee. Please help us by telling anyone who wanted to attend the race that it has been canceled. We are very sad to have to cancel the event, but it is just too much of a risk at this time. Read more on

Download a uniform order form to place an order. 06.24.2010 - The Northeast Velodrome in Londonderry, NH is starting a Super Sunday race series this week, and it is running throughout the summer. The track is run by a great bunch of people who have a real passion for the sport! They also hold structured workouts with a coach on Saturday mornings, and have several other open track times. Beginning next Tuesday at 5:45pm, and lasting for approximately 8 weeks, Shane Smith will be leading a "Tuesday base miles" ride out of Gus' Bike Shop in North Hampton. The ride will start out as a 60 minute ride, averaging approximately 18mph. The goal is try to keep the group together but s...ome riders may get dropped. Any questions? Friday, April 2nd was our 5th annual season Kick-off Party at the Timberland corporate headquarters in Stratham. Bike to Work Day was on Friday, May 21, 2010. 03.10.2010 - There is an 8-week injury prevention and recovery workshop starting soon called Loose Hips, Long Legs & Speedy Feet: Swim, Bike and Run with Less Effort. It will be given by personal trainer Charlie Murdach. See Flyer for more info. 02.25.2010 - Now that the rehabilitation of the Memorial Bridge project, which was submitted jointly by the NH and Maine DOT for stimulus funding, was not chosen by the TIGER program, the ME/NH Connections Study process becomes that much more important. There will be a Public Meeting on 02.25.21010 at Portsmouth High School 5:30 – 8:00 PM. It is imperative as cyclists that we all stay involved in this ongoing process of public input. The failed TIGER Stimulus Memorial Bridge rehabilitation plan included a lightweight concrete surface for both the vehicular and sidewalk portions of the lift span that would vastly increase the safety for cyclists and pedestrians, as well as protecting the steel substructure from corrosion. 02.21.2010 - NorEasters (L to R) Tim Young, Larry Driscoll, Charlie Bourdages, Steve McGrath and Colin Berry enjoy a February group ride from Exeter Cycles.
