Responsibilities & Benefits of Members
Members of NorEast Cycling should keep in mind the organization's goal of supporting the sport of cycling as well as representing our sponsors. A critical component of being a member is not only racing, but volunteering your time. In return for volunteering and racing, NorEast Cycling will continue to put in place programs that reward those who are working hard by giving our sponsors/team visibility at races and volunteering their time to the team. Our program depends on an active and involved membership, so get involved today! We need members who can organize events, write stories, lead rides, and much more.
Uniform Reimbursement
Any member in good standing who races at 10 USCF Road or Cyclocross events and satisfies their 2 volunteer credits, may submit a request to the board for a new team kit (jersey and shorts). Include in the request a list of the races completed along with an explanation of how you satisfied your two volunteer credits. Prologues and training series are not included, but high visibility events that support our sponsors may be considered by the board. For each additional 10 races and 2 volunteer credits, an additional request may be submitted.
