Tour of the Hill Towns; Masters 40+

Very tough day at the office today, suffered badly in the humidity. Felt bad right of the bat even though the first 22 miles are basically downhill. Could not even try staying with the lead group on the hill. Tried to ride tempo on the climb but it was so hot and humid I thought I was going to pass out. Over the top I hooked up with a couple of riders and we chased as best as we could. Back on rte 9 we were caught by a larger group of 40+ guys (this often happens) and had a decent paceline until the last 4 mile climb. Heavens opened on us and I basically limped home on my own, tired & demoralized. Saw Ryan Kelly working hard up rt 9 on the drive out riding in the pro group.
